Software enables PwC Tax Consultants to quickly access and always stay connected with relevant rich knowledge resources across in the enterprise

BURLINGAME—September 12, 2003—AtHoc, Inc., the leading provider of
business notifications software, today announced that PricewaterhouseCoopers
has licensed and successfully deployed the AtHocT Enterprise Notifications
Suite to the Tax Advisory Business Group. PricewaterhouseCoopers selected
AtHoc's software to streamline the way business information, applications
and enterprise resources are accessed by and delivered to its tax professionals.

The solution at PwC comprises the AtHocT Toolbar and the AtHocT Enterprise
Notifications Server, both integrating with IBM Lotus Notes and other web-based
portals and applications. The AtHocT Toolbar is a personalized desktop gateway
that provides anchor tenancy to a set of applications matching the tax consultant's
professional profile according to business group and practice area. The AtHocT
Enterprise Notifications Server dynamically populates the AtHocT Toolbar with
the applications relevant to the tax professional's role and updates toolbar
content as new information becomes available. In addition, the AtHocT server
can deliver critical, time-sensitive business alerts from these applications
to the tax consultant, ensuring that important notifications are not lost and
that any business process applicable to those notifications is completed. AtHoc's
delivery of enterprise resources and knowledge is pro-active, personalized and
instantaneous, saving the tax consultants significant time from locating resources
and allowing them to focus immediately on their customers' needs.
