Gupta to Oversee Day-to-day Product Development Activities for Software Company that Specializes in Network-centric Alerting Solutions

BURLINGAME, Ca.(March 1, 2007) - AtHoc today announced Rakesh Gupta has been promoted to the position of director of product development. Gupta has been with AtHoc since 2001 and served in numerous roles with increasing levels of responsibility in the technology organization. He began as a database administrator, transitioned to a senior application developer, and most recently, he served as the platform development manager.

Is his new role, Gupta is the acting day-to-day lead and system architect for all product development activities for AtHoc's line of alerting solutions. He works closely with team members to continually advance the product line in advance of customer demands.

In the past few years, Gupta's leadership resulted in major milestones for the company, including his managing the full cycles for two major product releases.

Gupta's experience prior to joining the AtHoc team includes serving in technical roles for Impresse Corp., Deloitte & Touche and Tata Consultancy Services. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 1995 (with honors) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
