Strengthens Online Relationships with End Users through Alerts and Desktop Presence
|
BURLINGAME, CASeptember 18, 2004CARFAX, the largest online provider of vehicle history reports, has successfully deployed the AtHocT Enterprise Notifications Suite among a large network of independent auto dealerships. As a result, CARFAX benefits from a strengthened relationship with the network of dealers through a desktop communications channel which drives more frequent purchases for CARFAX's Vehicle History Reports.
AtHoc expands the presence of CARFAX services beyond its website by anchoring the Vehicle History Reports offering directly onto the auto dealer's computer desktop. Through a CARFAX desktop alerting channel and a CARFAX-branded toolbar, auto dealers benefit from convenient top-of-mind presence of the Vehicle History Reports service as well as alerts about CARFAX's offering. Without navigating back to the CARFAX web site, as typically necessary in the past, auto dealers can now easily be reached for special offerings by CARFAX as well as be able to search for vehicle history reports with one click from anywhere on their desktop.
We are impressed by AtHoc's ability to give us an alternative communication channel outside of email to our network of dealers. AtHoc has enabled us to strengthen our relationship with auto dealers," says David Silversmith, CTO of CARFAX. "After a thorough research in the market, we selected AtHoc for its enterprise-class robustness and simplicity in deployment."
Aviv Siegel, CTO of AtHoc, adds, "We are pleased to help CARFAX strengthen its online presence by providing a direct and online channel of communications with auto dealers. CARFAX's success with AtHoc reflects the similar successes experienced by other customers such as WebMD and eBay. The AtHoc offering is highly effectively at strengthening the online presence for any business."
The AtHocT 5.4 is available as a fully hosted service or as a stand-alone application installed behind the company's firewall.
