AtHoc to Demonstrate the Value of its Network-centric Emergency Notification System, Highlighting its Works in Department of Defense

BURLINGAME, Ca.(February 12, 2007) - AtHoc, Inc. today announced the company will exhibit at the U.S. Air Force 2007 Worldwide Command Post Conference. The event will be held from February 26 through March 2, 2007 at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. AtHoc will brief the 400 Air Force attendees from command posts around the globe.

At the event, AtHoc will highlight its work performed throughout the Air Force and Department of Defense, helping installations better protect themselves through network-centric emergency alerting. AtHoc is already helping numerous Commands and individual bases throughout the Air Force enhance situational awareness, promote force protection and satisfy Air Force Instruction 10-2501 requirements.

"The 2007 Worldwide Command Post Conference provides us with a tremendous opportunity to address the Air Force leaders charged with protecting their bases," said Andy Anderson, AtHoc's vice president of operations, defense sector. "It's great to be able to walk into this event with numerous use cases highlighting how our software is already being used in real-life military installations. There's a reason entire Commands have standardized on AtHoc IWSAlerts, and we're excited to have a platform to talk about it".

AtHoc's flagship product, AtHoc IWSAlerts, combines a network alerting capability with a robust emergency notification management system. Using its network alerting capability, the system enables military installations to reach all personnel using a network-connected device, such as desktop PCs or PDAs. The alerts reach personnel in times of emergency with targeted messages and instructions for action - all within an average of one minute.

To manage the alerts and the alerting process, AtHoc IWSAlerts' management system serves as the control center which provides centralized management of all aspects of the emergency notification process. This includes: emergency scenario management, operators' permission management, end-user management, alerts tracking as well as the ability to connect and trigger multiple alert delivery systems such as Giant Voice or telephony alerting through a single interface.
