Based on Demand from Customers and Partners, the New Java Release—Designated AtHocT Enterprise Notifications Suite 5.5J—is Now Available as for a Platform-Independent Java Implementation

BURLINGAME, CA—March 16, 2004—AtHoc, Inc. ("AtHoc"), a leading provider of
enterprise notifications and subscriptions software, announced today the availability
of a Java version of its popular AtHocT Enterprise Notifications Suite. Using AtHoc's
new Java version, designated 5.5J, customers can enjoy multi-platform compatibility
and benefit from the robust functionality of AtHoc's enterprise-class notifications
and subscriptions engine.
The AtHoc 5.5J also includes significantly enhanced XML API and Web Services, supporting
the delivery of notifications to multiple user end-points, including AtHoc's popular smart
client—the AtHoc Toolbar, as well as web-based, mobile devices and email delivery
channels. The enhanced API enables customers and partners to tailor the software's user
interface to their needs and to tightly integrate the notifications and subscriptions engine
to their existing information infrastructure.
