Position

As part of AtHoc Customer Success and Training team, you will be responsible for training and mentoring AtHoc customers on AtHoc products and solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to be a Customer Advocate and Trainer to train students through an exciting new program designed to increase the number of highly-skilled AtHoc operators and specialists. Customer Advocate and Trainer will serve as a coach and mentor who guides students in the field.

The ideal candidate is likely a trainer, consultant or sales/systems engineer who is ready to share the best practices and AtHoc knowledge with others. Customer Advocate and Trainer should be seen as a thought leader who has extensive knowledge of AtHoc solutions, emergency management, as well as complementary and competitive technologies.

Customer Advocate and Trainer must effectively transfer knowledge using various materials and techniques ranging from comprehensive training manuals to computer based training, hands-on workshops and presentations. When not leading training events, the Customer Advocate and Trainer will continue to hone his or her AtHoc expertise while collaborating with other groups to evolve the program and training deliverables. Strong organizational skills are desired as the work is performed with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver AtHoc training in classrooms as well as in remote online environment
  • Attend and participate in ongoing curriculum improvement meetings
  • Recommend training program enhancement and modify existing training materials to ensure highest standards to all learners
  • Conduct train-the-trainer courses to enterprise customers and AtHoc delivery partners
  • Mentor students for ongoing usage of AtHoc products
  • Configure and modify AtHoc system to optimize usage
  • Explain integrated mass notification and emergency management system concepts to operators, senior leadership and technical teams
  • Be a strong product advocate and help customers with system configuration and/or processes around system usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in high tech software training and/or consulting
  • 5+ years of technical training and coursework development with a proven track record of success
  • Experience with emergency management operations is a plus
  • Experience with enterprise-wide software application in public safety, healthcare or life safety is a plus
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills
  • Solid communication and influence skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to figure out how things should work, and to identify patterns and trends
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
  • DoD (or equivalent) Secret Clearance or higher is a strong plus
