David Strohm – Partner, GreylockDavid Strohm has been Chairman of the Board since 2000, upon Greylock’s completion of its lead investment in AtHoc. Dave joined Greylock, a long-established American venture capital firm, in 1980 and opened their Palo Alto office in 1983. Having been a founding investor in more than 30 companies in 25 years of venture investing, Dave’s primary areas of focus has been on enterprise technology and software, electronic design, and e-commerce. Dave currently works to a model of intensive commitment to a small number of companies, where he often serves as Chairman or Lead Director. In addition to serving as Chairman at AtHoc, he is currently a board member and Lead Director at EMC, a Board member at VMware, Imperva, as well as an active Board member at 8 private companies. Admiral Thomas B. Fargo, USN (Ret.)Retired U.S. Navy Admiral Thomas B. Fargo has served on AtHoc Advisory Board since 2007 and joined AtHoc's Board of Directors in 2009. Completing his military career as the 20th Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, Admiral Fargo became President of Trex Enterprises, a privately held high technology company. In April 2008, he became a Managing Director of J.F. Lehman and Co, with principal responsibilities as President and CEO of HSF Holdings/Hawaii Superferry. Admiral Fargo is currently the Chairman of Huntington Ingall Industries Industries (NYSE: HII), America’s largest military shipbuilder, as of 2011 and he also holds the John M. Shalikashvili Chair in National Security Studies at the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR). He serves on the Board of Directors for Hawaiian Electric Industries (NYSE: HE) and United States Automobile Association in addition to smaller private equity and venture capital portfolio companies. Born in San Diego, CA, Admiral Fargo graduated from the United States Naval Academy in June 1970 and has additional Governance, Business and Financial training from Harvard and Stanford Universities. He is a 1989 recipient of the Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for Inspirational Leadership. Robert M. HalperinRobert Halperin has been a Board of Directors member of AtHoc since the company’s inception in 1999. He is currently an independent investor and formerly a consultant to Greylock Management, a venture capital firm, from 1995 to 2004. From 1990 to 1994, Bob was Vice Chairman of the Raychem Corporation, a materials science company, and previously served as its President and CEO. His career at Raychem spanned 37 years. Bob served on the Board of Directors of Vitria Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: VITR), a leading provider of eBusiness infrastructure software; also Stanford University Hospital and Clinics, Associates of Harvard Business School and Harvard Business Publishing Co., Cardica, Inc., Avid Technologies, and Picarro. He is a Cornell University Life Member, a recipient of the Harvard Business School Alumni Achievement Award in 1991, and a University of Chicago Trustee Emeritus since 2007. Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Guy Miasnik – President & CEOGuy Miasnik has over 18 years of experience in the IT sector with specific expertise in C4I – Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence – solutions and technologies. He has managed programs and R&D efforts in these fields on behalf of clients and government organizations, both as a Captain in the military and senior executive of technology companies. Prior to AtHoc, Guy founded Kinetica Ltd., a high-end engineering and technology integration firm specializing in internet and communications solutions. Guy served as CEO and orchestrated Kinetica's growth from start-up to profitability in less than two years. His tenure at Kinetica culminated in a strategic acquisition by NetVision, a subsidiary of Elron Industries (NASDAQ: ELRN). Guy graduated from Harvard University (MBA) and the Technion (BS Electrical Engineering summa cum laude). He is an active member in the Pacific Council on International Policy, the West-coast affiliate of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ly Tran – Vice President of Sales and Corporate DevelopmentLy Tran holds responsibility for creating new business opportunities and market penetration strategies for AtHoc. In that capacity, Ly develops and manages relationships with system integrators, product partners and resellers. Prior to AtHoc, Ly worked in global mergers and acquisitions for Chase Manhattan Bank and in emerging markets private equity for Citicorp and the Vietnam Fund Ltd., where he led investment initiatives in Asia Commercial Bank, Vietnam's largest private bank, and in the Ana Mandara, Vietnam’s leading resort – featured in Forbes (2004) and Architectural Digest (2001).
